Lykke Li Ready For A Fun Fall

Swedish singer/songwriter Lykke Li has added a round of fall North American shows to go along with her appearance at in Austin, Texas.

The indie pop songstress is touring in support of her sophomore album, Wounded Rhymes, which was released in May. 

On Friday Li performs in her native country with an appearance at at the Town Center in Ostersund. August is filled with additional festival gigs including in New York (Aug. 1); and the in Chicago (Aug. 5-6); in Oslo, Norway (Aug. 12); and in Hasselt, Belgium (Aug. 20). She’ll also play Los Angeles’ Greek Theatre on Aug. 3.

Her 11-date North American tour begins with a Nov. 5 set at Fun Fun Fun Fest at Austin’s Auditorium Shores.

The new dates include Fox Theater Pomona in California (Nov. 7); Denver’s Ogden Theatre (Nov. 11); Minneapolis’ First Avenue (Nov. 13); Chicago’s Vic Theatre (Nov. 14); Toronto’s Sound Academy (Nov. 15); Wellmont Theatre in Montclair, N.J. (Nov. 17); and Atlanta at The Buckhead Theatre (Nov. 20). The run wraps up Nov. 21 in New Orleans at Tipitina’s Uptown.

First Aid Kit will support all of the non-festival gigs.

Fans can catch Li performing the first track from Wounded Rhymes, “Youth Knows No Pain,” on “The Tonight Show with Jay Leno” Aug. 4.
