Ten New CFEs

Ten individuals earned Certified Facilities Executive designation from the International Association of Venue Managers at the 2011 VenueConnect in Phoenix.

The CFE designation is IAVM’s indication of demonstrated skill in leadership, activity in community affairs and expertise in management of public assembly facilities.

Six of the designees are Mount V. Allen III (Zoellner Arts Center); Steve Hevern, AEG Ogden (Acer Arena, Australia); Kathy Kramer (Phoenix Convention Center); Steve Macfadyen; Michael Meyers (Greater Richmond Convention Center) and Brandi Quick (Von Braun Center).

Rounding out the 10 are Tim Riddle (Cave City Convention Center); Jason Rittenberry (Palm Beach International Raceway); Suzanne Sheather (Acer Arena); and Susan Walker (Assembly Hall, University of Illinois, Champaign).

The 2011 class brings the total number of public assembly venue managers who have earned the CFE designation to more than 254.
