The Canadian singer-songwriter is hitting the road in support of her upcoming album, Metals, which is set for release Oct. 4. Last week she showed off the cover art for Metals through a paint-by-numbers picture posted on her Facebook and Twitter pages. The post encouraged fans to send in their painted versions of the cover with the promise that her favorite entries would “win something special.”

Earlier today she gave fans another sneak peek at the album through a 27-second video. The video is the third in a series of 12 video vignettes about Metals. The next will be unveiled on Friday.

The fall tour kicks off Oct. 15 in Amsterdam, Netherlands, at Royal Carre Theatre. Additional European gigs are scheduled in the United Kingdom (Oct. 17), Belgium (Oct. 19) and Germany (Oct. 22).

The U.S. leg begins Oct. 29 in Philadelphia at World Café Live with dates scheduled through a Nov. 17 gig in Seattle at Moore Theatre.

Feist will also play Chicago (Nov. 4); Atlanta (Nov. 6); Dallas (Nov. 8); Los Angeles (Nov. 12); San Francisco (Nov. 14); and Portland, Ore. (Nov. 16).

A handful of Canadian dates are scheduled in late November and early December including Vancouver, British Columbia (Nov. 18); Edmonton, Alberta (Nov. 20); Calgary, Alberta (Nov. 21); Toronto (Dec. 1); Montreal (Dec. 3); Ottawa, Ontario (Dec. 5); and Quebec City, Quebec (Dec. 6).
