When the tour supporting the Kanye/Jay-Z Watch The Throne CD was first announced, the journey was supposed to begin Sept. 22 in the Detroit area’s Palace of Auburn Hills. However, late last week Live Nation indicated there would be changes in the routing as “public demand” resulted in more cities being added to the tour. With presales launching yesterday, the revised itinerary showed a tour beginning more than a month later than planned with the first date taking place at Atlanta’s Philips Arena Oct. 29.

The schedule released today pretty much mirrors the first revision. However, two of the four cities that appeared on the original itinerary but were missing from the revised routing have returned, with Montreal at the Bell Centre now scheduled for Nov. 22 and Washington’s Tacoma Dome now set for Dec. 16. Markets included on the original announcement that have yet to show up on the revised schedule are Denver and Sacramento. Still absent from the routing are second night shows for Chicago and Los Angeles.

There are also a few new listings with the tour adding Fort Lauderdale, Fla., at the BankAtlantic Center Nov. 14; Pittsburgh’s Consol Energy Center Nov. 27; Kansas City at the Sprint Center Nov. 29 and New Orleans at the New Orleans Arena Dec. 3.

Presales for Fort Lauderdale, Pittsburgh, Kansas City and New Orleans begin Aug. 5. General onsales for all dates on the tour begin Aug. 8, the same day Watch The Throne drops exclusively on iTunes. Click here for more information.
