Bridgestone Arena Upgrade

Bridgestone Arena in Nashville, home to the National Hockey League’s Predators, is slated for a renovation project that will spruce up the 20,000-capacity arena’s upper bowl.

The Nashville Post said Predators President/CEO Sean Henry described the project in a report to the Metro Sport Authority as creating a “Fan Zone” in the upper bowl section of the arena that would add about 100 seats.

Improvements include opening up the concourse and adding a drink rail, replacing aluminum walls with acoustic curtaining, improved ADA seating and murals of iconic performers.

The Predators will foot the bill for the estimated $125,000 project, the paper said.
