Perched on top of a piano while performing in Belo Horizonte Tuesday night, Lavigne was about to launch into a cover of Coldplay’s “Fix You” when the fan rushed the singer, according to the New York Daily News.

Although Lavigne let out a surprised yell, she kept her poise as she smiled and continued with the show.

“Just getting in the moment there,” Lavigne said of her unexpected intruder. “Okay, let’s try that again.”
