Jersey Boys Heading To NZ

“Jersey Boys – The Story of Frankie Valli & The Four Seasons” opens at Auckland’s The Civic April 2012.

Promoters include New York’s Dodger Theatricals and Australia’s Paul Dainty and Robert Rigby.

The show has had a successful run in Australia, beginning July 2009 and expected to sell 1 million tickets by year’s end.

It was secured for Auckland as part of the new Major Events strategy to brand Auckland a major entertainment destination and increase tourism.

Regional Facilities Auckland and Auckland Tourism, Events and Economic Development brokered the deal. The schedule calls for the New Zealand run to last 11 weeks and reach 200,000 payers.
