What is the comedic puppet master serving up on his fall/winter tour? Two new characters will be making their Dunham debut. “Achmed Junior” is described as the “not-as-equally skeletal son of Achmed The Dead Terrorist” while “Little Jeff” is a mini-version of Dunham himself.

But you don’t need to wait until Dunham plays your town to check out the new players. Dunham’s fourth Comedy Central special, “Controlled Chaos,” airs Sept. 25 and enters DVD distribution two days later.

Tourwise, Dunham has plenty of work to keep his puppets well-polished. While he has a short list of one-offs through September, the rigorous night-after-night touring begins when he plays Loveland, Colo., at the Budweiser Events Center Oct. 6. Hitting just about every place in North America where people love to laugh, stops include “Rockford, Ill. (Oct. 12); Binghamton, N.Y. (Nov. 3); Toledo, Ohio (Nov. 27); Reading, Pa. (Dec. 27); Atlanta (Jan. 28); Sunrise, Fla. (Feb. 11); and Los Angeles (March 31).

But this is one of those tours where you really need to eyeball the complete routing in order to appreciate the sheer magnificence of the calendar. Just click here.
