Red Hot Chili Peppers With You

Earlier this week we told you about the Red Hot Chili Peppers fan-only gig that’s being broadcast on Fuse. The rock band has since announced another special broadcast taking place in select movie theatres around the world.

The previously announced fan-only gig is set for Aug. 22 at the Roxy Theatre in West Hollywood, Calif., with the broadcast airing on the music cable channel Aug. 30 at 9 p.m. EST.

The “Red Hot Chili Peppers LIVE: I’m With You” event also takes place Aug. 30, which marks the U.S. release of the group’s tenth studio album, I’m With You.

The band will perform I’m With You from start to finish in addition to some classic Chili Peppers songs from a stage in Cologne, Germany. The live performance will be broadcast via satellite worldwide Aug. 30 in addition to select varying dates internationally. Participating cinemas are located everywhere from Canada to Australia to Germany to South Africa.

Tickets for select theatres went on sale today.

I’m With You is the Chili Peppers first album since 2006’s Stadium Arcadium. The Warner Bros. Records release is due out in several European countries Aug. 26.
