Edge Named RCA CEO

Peter Edge has been named CEO of RCA Music Group, heading labels RCA, Jive, J and Arista as well as affiliate labels.

Edge was president of A&R for RCA Music Group and sigend acts like Alicia Keys, Dido, Mario and Jamie Foxx.

He most recently worked with acts Pitbull, Mike Posner, Jazmine Sullivan and Marsha Ambrosius. In addition, Tom Corson has been named president and COO of RCA Music Group.

He will report to Edge and oversee promotion, marketing, publicity, digital, sales, international, video and operations for the label group.

The appointments were announced by Sony Music Entertainment CEO Doub Morris Aug. 8.
