Train Ticket Glitch

A recent ticketing error at the Erie County Convention Center in Pennsylvania allowed a “handful” of fans to scoop up free tickets to an Aug. 27 Train concert before the glitch was fixed.

However, those who got their hands on free tickets when the center’s online ticketing system goofed won’t be able to use them.

Box office reps told the Erie Times-News the incident was a “first” for the venue, which recently got into electronic ticketing.

Fans who were able to purchase free tix will be notified and offered an opportunity to purchase the seats for the actual going rates between $35 and $47.50.

The convention center authority inked a long-term ticketing agreement with Tickets.com earlier this year.
