Ticketfly Snags Zelisko, Union Transfer

Danny Zelisko, Arizona’s best-known rock promoter who left Live Nation in February, has struck a deal with ticketing company Ticketfly. So have the people behind Philadelphia’s new venue, Union Transfer.

Danny Zelisko Presents was founded last month, with Zelisko agreeing to book Phoenix’s new 1,500-capacity Foundry on First, which debuted with Cowboy Mouth July 9.

Andrew Dreskin’s Ticketfly also recently struck a deal with the producers of the 1,000-capacity Union Transfer: New York-based Bowery Presents, Philly locals Sean Agnew of R5 Productions, and Avram Hornik and Mark Fichera of Four Corners Management.

Union Transfer is expected to open late September.

Both are expected to use Ticketfly’s “suite of tools,” according to a statement, including email and social marketing.
