Chris Brown’s Fall F.A.M.E. Run

In what may be one of the last major tours stopping at amphiheatres this year, Chris Brown takes to the highways next month on an outing stretching to the end of October.

Sure, there are arenas on the routing, but the number of sheds hosting Brown’s F.A.M.E. tour made us take a second look at the calendar. Sure enough, he’s playing outdoor venues as late as the third week of October, albeit in warmer climates than, say, Detroit or Baltimore.

Touring in support of his fourth studio album, F.A.M.E., Brown’s adventure begins at Toronto’s Molson Canadian Amphitheatre Sept. 12; plays Darien Center, N.Y., at the Darien Lake Performing Arts Center Sept. 14 and Holmdel, N.J., at the PNC Bank Arts Center Sept. 16.

Other stops include Detroit’s Joe Louis Arena Sept. 18; Tinley Park, Ill., at the First Midwest Bank Amphitheatre Sept. 23; Tampa’s 1-800 Ask-Gary Amphitheatre Oct. 8; Los Angeles’ Staples Center Oct. 20; Concord, Calif., at the Sleep Train Pavilion at Concord Oct. 22; Wheatland, Calif., at the Sleep Train Amphitheatre Oct. 23; Pittsburgh’s Consol Energy Center Oct. 29 and Hartford, Conn., at the XL Center Oct. 30.

Joining Brown will be T-Pain, Kelly Rowland and Tyga.
