Green Day Playing Secret Show

Green Day is putting on a so-called secret show Thursday, marking the band’s first gig of the year.

The performance takes place at Tiki Bar in Costa Mesa, Calif., with doors opening at 8 p.m. Tickets are priced at $20. Fans will want to get there early because tickets are only being sold at the door.

A press release, which was also posted on the band’s website, emphasizes that there is no presale and that a strict no-camera and no-cell phone policy will be enforced. The gig is limited to fans 21 years and over.

All proceeds benefit the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.
