It’s been a great year for Joe Bonamassa. His latest album, Dust Bowl, has proved to be a winner, racking up great sales figures and receiving plenty of accolades from critics and fans alike. Plus, his “other job” as guitarist of Black Country Communion, the supergroup that also features Glenn Hughes, Jason Bonham and Derek Sherinian hasn’t exactly been idle, touring the U.S. and Europe in 2011.

The second leg of his tour supporting Dust Bowl kicks off in Minneapolis at The State Theatre Oct. 25. New additions include a second date – Nov. 4 – to go along with his Nov. 5 sold-out NYC Beacon Theatre gig. Other new listings include Albany, N.Y., at Palace Theatre Nov. 9; Richmond, Va., at Landmark Theatre Nov. 13; West Palm Beach, Fla., at the Kravis Center Nov. 22; Knoxville, Tenn., at the Civic Auditorium Nov. 27; and Portland, Ore., at Arlene Schnitzer Hall Dec. 14.

As if rocking with Black Country Communion and touring in support of his own album didn’t keep Bonamassa busy, the artist also collaborated with Beth Hart on an album coming out next month. Don’t Explain features Hart backed by Bonamassa and his band as she reinterprets classic soul songs first made famous by folks such as Billie Holiday, Ray Charles, Tom Waits, Bill Withers, Etta James, Aretha Franklin and Delaney & Bonnie. Don’t Explain drops Sept. 27 on J&R Adventures, the label that takes its name from the company founded by Bonamassa and his longtime manager Roy Weisman.

Many dates on the new leg are already on sale. Visit JBonamassa.com for more information.
