The “Nevermind Live in Sky Church” benefit show takes place Sept. 20 in Seattle at the EMP Museum’s Sky Church.

Nivana’s second studio album, which was released in 1991, will be performed in its entirety with different Seattle groups taking turns on stage. In addition to Novoselic, the lineup includes Fastbacks, Vaporland, The Long Winters, Visqueen, Valis (fronted by former Screaming Trees bassist Van Conner), Ravenna Woos, Campfire OK, Champagne Champagne, Tacocat, Crypts and more.

The EMP Museum is also hosting the world’s most extensive exhibition of Nirvana memorabilia. “Nirvana: Taking Punk to the Masses” explores the group’s music and history through rare and unseen artifacts and photography from the band, their crews and family. The exhibit is open now through April 2013.

Tickets to the benefit show are on sale now through BrownPaperTickets.com. EMP members can snag discounted tickets for $15. Tickets are priced at $20 for the general public.
