Statue For Ballpark Accident

A fan who was killed when he fell from the stands while reaching for a foul ball will be memorialized with a bronze statue at Rangers Ballpark in Arlington.

The Texas Rangers recently announced plans to honor Shannon Stone and his young son with a statue depicting the pair at a game.

The sculpture will be installed outside the ballpark’s home plate gate before next season.
