Shed Named After Lady A

Augusta, Ga., will get some help from Lady Antebellum when the band performs during the unveiling of the city’s new 5,000-seat Lady Antebellum Pavilion Oct. 28.

The roughly $5 million project has been under construction for less than one year and pays tribute to hometown hero Charles Kelley of Lady Antebellum. It also honors his brother, singer-songwriter Josh Kelley, with the stage being named the Josh Kelley Stage.

Earlier this year, city officials told the Augusta Chronicle Global Spectrum consulted on the project, but noted that discussions regarding any formal management agreement with the company wouldn’t take place until the venue opens.
