Somerset Shed Debut

The inaugural SoundTown Music Festival debuted at Wisconsin’s Somerset Amphitheater, formerly named Float-Rite Amphitheater, Aug. 19-20.

The event, considered the debut of the revamped, 32,500-capacity venue under new ownership, featured more than 30 bands playing on three stages, according to the Star Tribune.

Featured acts included The Flaming Lips, Devotchka, Ghostland Observatory, Slick Rick & Doug E. Fresh, Delta Spirit and The New Pornographers.
