KISS Plushies Are Coming

Sometimes we love KISS for the music and their fire-belching, blood-spitting sonic extravaganzas. Then there are those times when we tip our hats to the band’s famed sense of capitalism that has sold us everything from KISS Kondoms to KISS Kaskets. This is one of those times.

The newest piece of merch bearing the KISS logo is a line of plushies. Licensed by FUNKO, there’s a plushie for each original member of the band that’s rocked the world for almost four decades yet still hasn’t been inducted into the Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame.

But then, how many R&R Hall OF Famers can boast of having their own plushies? Portraying the band’s initial lineup of Paul Stanley, Gene Simmons, Ace Frehley and Peter Criss, the seven-inch dolls can be pre-ordered now via EntertainmentEarth.com and will begin shipping Sept. 11, the same day the dolls arrive at local FYE stores. Expect prices to range from $10.99 to $12.99.

Meanwhile, the band has its first ocean cruise setting sail in October. The KISS Kruise: Wet, Wild & Rockin’ departs Miami aboard Carnival Cruise Line’s “Destiny” Oct. 13 and returns Oct. 17.
