Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds Set U.S. Landing
The album Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds lands in stores Nov. 8, one day after the older Oasis bro and his band embark on a brief North American journey with a two-nighter at Toronto’s Massey Hall Nov. 7-8. Other stops are Philadelphia’s Academy Of Music Nov. 11; Boston’s Wang Theatre Nov. 12; New York City at Beacon Theatre Nov. 14; Los Angeles at UCLA’s Royce Hall Nov. 17 and San Francisco’s Orpheum Theatre Nov. 19.
Earlier this summer, Gallagher told the press his new project would play new material as well as old Oasis tunes, saying the songs he created with his brother Liam are “like drugs” to him.
As to his band, Gallagher said the High Flying Birds consist of himself and “whoever is around at the time,” describing the project as a “loose collective kinda thing.”
Tickets for Toronto, Philadelphia, Boston, New York and Los Angeles go up Sept. 9 while San Francisco goes on sale Sept. 11. Visit NoelGallagher.com for more information.
