From TheVaccines.co.uk:

“Canceling shows in exchange for repeated hospital visits plain f**king sucks. I know it may seem unfair that we continue to visit certain places whilst failing to visit your city or country, but touring is all we have ever wanted to do, so to suggest that we may not want to play a show, or that certain shows take priority over others, is not true. We are simply following the Doctor’s orders.”

The Vaccines were to begin their North American tour at Seattle’s Crocodile Sept. 8 on an outing that didn’t wrap until the band reached New York City Oct. 1 and included appearances at the and Philadelphia’s . The band has rescheduled planned October shows in Germany, Netherlands, Denmark, Sweden and Belgium for December.
