Dave Matthews Caravan Sets New NYC Dates

Forced to postpone two of its three dates in New York City due to Hurricane Irene, the Dave Matthews Band not only announces new days but a new location as well.

The was originally scheduled to play New York City’s Governors Island Aug. 26-28. But Mom Nature came calling in the form of last weekend’s Hurricane Irene. Although the festival played the first day, it was forced to postpone Aug. 27 & 28.

Now the Caravan has three replacement dates – Sept. 16, 17 & 18  – and a new venue – Randalls Island on the East River. While the lineup is still being worked out, Dispatch will perform Sept. 16-17.

All original tickets, including those purchased for the date that did play, will be honored on the new dates. All three-day general admission and VIP packages purchased for the August dates will also be honored.
