Both artists have new albums to support.  American Idol season 7 winner David Cook’s latest release, This Loud Morning, dropped in June with the second single from the effort – “Fade Into Me” – scheduled to be released in tandem with the upcoming tour.

Gavin DeGraw’s new album, Sweeter, arrives Sept. 20, giving you a couple of weeks to familiarize yourself with the new material before the tour begins in State College, Pa., at Penn State Oct. 9.

Journeying through America’s heartland with Carolina Liar opening on all dates, the tour follows the Penn State show with gigs in Columbus, Ohio, at Newport Music Hall Oct. 10; St. Louis at The Pageant Oct. 11 and Tulsa, Okla., at Cain’s Ballroom Oct. 13. Other stops include Seattle (Oct. 18); Phoenix (Oct. 23); San Diego (Oct. 24); Austin (Oct. 30); Memphis (Nov. 2); Cincinnati (Nov. 7) and Athens, Ga., (Nov. 10).
