Madonna Stalker To Stay In Custody

An obsessed Madonna fan who broke into her £10 million London mansion and rifled through her bedding has been remanded in custody.

Polish national Grzegorz Matlok, 30, unlawfully entered Madge’s Georgian townhouse in Bayswater in March. He used a rope to climb up to a balcony.

He also broke into two nearby properties and stole a can of Red Bull energy drink before being caught by a neighbour.

Southwark Crown Court heard how in June 2010 Matlok sneaked into the country estate Madonna used to share with ex-husband Guy Ritchie and was caught putting on her clothes and trying to set other items alight.

He was arrested but not charged for that incident, but was deported to Poland for mental health treatment.

On March 12 he flew back to Britain intent on seeing the star, believing he was sharing an intimate relationship with her.

Immediately after his arrest for the second break-in, police found a trail of his belongings leading back to Madonna’s home, including a map showing its location in Marylebone.

He has been remanded in custody since that offense and in court was flanked by staff from a secure psychiatric unit.

He was found guilty of the June burglary, but denied two other burglary charges. They were ordered to lie on file.

Matlok will return to the Southwark court for sentencing Oct. 10.
