Coldplay’s Winter In Europe

Coldplay began the week with an email blast listing three U.K. dates and six shows on the Continent. The journey begins in Glasgow, Scotland, at the SECC Dec. 3, plays the Manchester Evening News Arena Dec. 4 and The O2 London Dec. 9.

Crossing the channel, the band’s itinerary includes stops in Paris at Palais Ominsports de Paris-Bercy Dec. 14; Cologne at LANXESS Arena Dec. 15; Rotterdam, Netherlands, at Ahoy Rotterdam Dec. 17; Merskem, Belgium, at Sportpaleis Antwerpen Dec. 18; Frankfurt at Festhalle – Messe Frankfurt Dec. 20 and Berlin at O2 World Dec. 21.

Fan pre-sales begin Sept. 21 for Cologne, Frankfurt and Berlin and Sept. 22 for Glasgow, Manchester, London, Paris and Rotterdam. General onsales for all dates begin Sept. 23.

Meanwhile, Coldplay’s new album, Mylo Xyloto, drops Oct. 24 but you can get a taste of it when the band’s Sept. 21 performance at Toronto’s MuchMusic lot beams out via music cable channel Fuse. Showtime is 9 p.m. Eastern.
