A Panic!-Filled Fall Tour
The pop punk band has spent the spring and summer touring the states and Europe in support of the band’s third studio album. Vices & Virtues, which was released in March on Decaydance / Fueled by Ramen, was Panic! At The Disco’s first album since lyricist/guitarist Ryan Ross and bassist Jon Walker left the group in 2009. The album debuted at No.2 on SoundScan’s “alternative albums” chart and No.5 on the “digital albums” chart.
Vices & Virtues’ most recent single, “Ready To Go (Get Me Out Of My Mind),” is featured on Diet Coke’s latest “Stay Extraordinary” ad campaign and on Diet Coke’s official YouTube channel. A live version of the song will be included on Panic! At The Disco’s upcoming iTunes Live EP.
A new studio track from the band, titled “Mercenary,” will be featured on the Rocksteady Studios / Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment’s third-person video game “Batman: Arkham City.” Fans can check out the tune on the band’s official PureVolume page and at Idolator.com.
The fall headline tour kicks off in Reno, Nev., at the Knitting Factory Concert House and wraps up Nov. 10 in Sauget, Ill., at Pop’s.
Stops in-between include Sacramento, Calif. (Oct. 10); Albuquerque, N.M. (Oct. 16); Austin, Texas (Oct. 19); Tampa, Fla. (Oct. 23); Portland, Maine (Oct. 28); Washington, D.C. (Oct. 31); Philadelphia (Nov. 3); Grand Rapids, Mich. (Nov. 5); Cincinnati (Nov. 6); and Milwaukee (Nov. 8).
Stump and Foxy Shazam will be featured on all dates.
Before the U.S. trek begins, Panic! At The Disco heads Down Under for a series of appearances at Australia’s
Panic! At The Disco will return to the United Kingdom for another round of dates Jan. 25 through Feb. 2.
