Chickenfoot Scratches Out A Tour

The all-star band lays down a short routing for the first week of November.

Doing a brief run of coast-to-coast dates in support of the upcoming Chickenfoot III dropping Sept. 27 on eOne Music, the band consisting of guitar wiz Joe Satriani, drummer Kenny Aronoff and former Van Halen members Michael Anthony and Sammy Hagar begin the journey in San Francisco Nov. 1 and wrap it up in New York City Nov. 8. Stops in between are Los Angeles (Nov. 2), St. Louis (Nov. 4) and Chicago (Nov. 5).

Notice something missing? That’s right. No venues. The band says it won’t announce venues or, for that matter, ticket information until Oct. 3.  Chad Smith is missing as well, opting to play drums for his other band, Red Hot Chili Peppers.

While you’re waiting for Oct. 3 to roll around, be sure to catch Chickenfoot’s live performance from Bob Weir’s TRI Studios in Marin County, Calif., Sept. 27 at 9 p.m. Eastern time. Along with performing tracks from the new album, the band will also partake in a 30-minute Q&A, so have your best questions ready.
