The shows – Madison Square Garden Dec. 16 and Milton Keynes National Bowl July 14 – were announced on DJ Pete Tong’s BBC Radio 1 program today.

News of the two dates comes with the announcement that Swedish House Mafia will release a live album called One Night Stand later this year. The disc will feature the previously unavailable Coldplay Vs. Swedish House Mafia “Every Teardrop Is A Waterfall.” A new collaboration with Knife Party – “Antidote” – is also on the disc.

Formed by DJs/producers Axwell, Steven Angello and Sebastian Ingross, Swedish House Mafia has enjoyed spectacular success during the past few years, capturing the iTunes dance album No. 1 position with its 2010 release Until One, and selling 2 million global singles in one year – no easy accomplishment in a music economy dominated by file-sharing and other freebies.

Let’s talk tickets. The New York City Madison Square Garden gig goes up next week, but Swedish House Mafia is holding several pre-sales before selling tix to the general public.

Swedish House Mafia will offer tickets to its SHM Originals, the loyal fans who have been with the group from the beginning. Those fans will receive a unique code for the pre-sale in their email this weekend as a thank you from the SHM.

Another pre-sale taking place Sept. 28 will be for Brixton 2009 ticket holders. Like the SHM originals, this group of fans will receive a unique code by email this weekend.

There is also a fan pre-sale via Swedish House Mafia’s Facebook page beginning Sept. 29 at 10 a.m. Eastern time and running for 24 hours leading up to the general presale launching Sept. 30.
