Jane’s Addiction In NYC

Playing a brief series of club dates in support of the band’s new album coming out next month, Jane’s Addiction releases ticketing info for its New York City gigs.

Perry Farrell, Dave Navarro and Stephen Perkins along with bassist Chris Chaney launched the club tour in support of The Great Escape Artist over the weekend with Saturday and Sunday gigs at The Metro in Chicago. Still to come are the Los Angeles shows planned for John Anson Ford Theater Oct. 3 & 4 and, of course, New York City at Irving Plaza Oct. 17 & 18. The Great Escape Artist lands in stores Oct. 18.

Jane’s Addiction announced the club run in early September, noting that the band launched its 1988 “Nothing’s Shocking” tour at Chicago’s Metro with two sold out shows. In 1989 Jane’s Addiction played a series of sold out shows at the John Anson Ford Theater.

A Citi Private Pass presale for cardmembers begins Tuesday at 10 a.m. Eastern Time and the general onsale begins Oct. 1. For more information, head on over to JanesAddiction.com.
