Ricky Martin Cancels Gig

Ricky Martin canceled a Sept. 20 concert at Neuquén, Argentina, because of a severe muscle spasm in his neck he’d been dealing with for about a week.

The Latin American Herald Times said all was ready for Martin to take the stage when a promoter announced the concert was canceled because of the singer’s pain.

The show won’t be rescheduled and refunds were given to ticketholders.

Martin had tweeted about his muscle pain several days before, telling fans the pain was a 7 on a scale of 1 to 10, according to the paper. No other dates were affected.
