While no dates have been released, the word is that the first since 2008 will take place January through early March of next year. Joining Megadeth for this binge of metalmania will be Motorhead, Volbeat and Lacuna Coil, all handpicked by Dave Mustaine.

Megadeth launched Gigantour in 2005 with a lineup featuring Dream Theater, Anthrax, Fear Factory, The Dillinger Escape Plan and Nevermore. The 2008 version of Gigantour featured In Flames, Children Of Bodom, Job For A Cowboy and High On Fire in North America while Job For A Cowboy and Evile appeared on the tour’s U.K. run.

Megadeth also wants to remind you that the band’s 13th album, appropriately titled TH1RT3EN, drops Nov. 1 on Roadrunner Records and is filled with all the sonic rage and angst you’ve come to expect from Mustaine & Co. First single from the album is “Public Enemy No. 1.”

“This record is the culmination of my work over the 13 records I recorded,” Mustaine said in a statement. “There are moments on TH1RT3EN that capture my every emotion, and other moments where I am releasing feelings I never knew existed! My proudest moments of my musical career are captured on TH1RT3EN.”
