N.C. Shed Repair Approved

The Raleigh, N.C., City Council accepted a bid of $310,182 Sept. 20 to replace the pavilion roof on the city’s Time Warner Cable Music Pavilion at Walnut Creek.

The 20,000-capacity, Live Nation-run facility previously known as Walnut Creek Amphitheatre was evaluated earlier this year and found to be in need of some upgrades, according to the Triangle Business Journal.

Owen’s Roofing Inc. put in the winning bid for the shed roof.

Funding for the pavilion roof as well as roof replacements for concessions, restrooms and main office building will be paid for out of the city’s capital improvement program, the Journal said.
