More Solo Shows From Chris Cornell

The Soundgarden frontman is hitting the road by himself once again in November for a second run of his solo acoustic “Songbook” tour.

In April Chris Cornell kicked off his first-ever solo acoustic tour, featuring tunes he had written over his nearly 30-year career.

The intimate, sold-out shows earned high praise from the press.

“The two-hour, nearly two-dozen-song performance was a master class in the fine art of solo performance,” the Boston Globe wrote. “He wove tender folk-tinged ballads, hard-rock torch songs, and souring anthems into a cohesive whole, telling a few tales in between, ‘Storytellers’-style.”

Performances from the spring tour were recorded for a live album. The 16-track Songbook is set for release Nov. 21 featuring tunes penned by Cornell as well as a few covers. Fans who purchase fall “Songbook” tickets online will receive a digital copy of the album.
