Metallica In India
Metallica will play its first-ever concert in India Oct. 28 as the headliner of F1 Rocks at Leisure Valley in the city of Gurgaon, Uttar Pradesh.
The concert is two days before India’s first Formula One race at the new Buddh International Circuit.
Organizers expect an audience of 30,000 for the concert, which, as with previous F1 Rocks concerts in other countries, will be broadcast worldwide.
On Oct. 30, the band will perform at the Bangalore Palace Ground.
These concerts will follow up another first, the band’s debut gig in Abu Dhabi on Oct. 25 at Yas Island.
