The indie folk band is touring in support of its third studio album. The Rip Tide was released in August on Pompeii Records.

Along with frontman Zach Condon (ukulele, trumpet, piano, vocals), the six-piece group features Perrin Cloutier (accordion, piano), Paul Collins (electric bass, upright bass), Ben Lanz (trombone, piano, tuba), Nick Petree (drums), and Kelly Pratt (trumpet, euphonium).

On Saturday Beirut play Oakland, Calif., at Fox Theater. Previously announced U.S. shows are booked through Nov. 13.

The new dates include stops in Houston at Warehouse Live Oct. 31; Dallas at The Prophet Bar Nov. 1; Nashville at Cannery Ballroom Nov. 7; Providence, R.I., at Lupo’s Heartbreak Hotel Nov. 26; Cleveland’s House Of Blues Nov. 28; and Milwaukee’s Turner Hall Ballroom Nov. 30.

In December Beirut kicks the month off with a gig in Minneapolis at First Avenue Dec. 2 followed by shows in Knoxville, Tenn. (Dec. 4); Asheville, N.C. (Dec. 5); Athens, Ga. (Dec. 7); Carrboro, N.C. (Dec. 8); Pittsburgh (Dec. 10); and Washington, D.C. (Dec. 13).

The group then heads Down Under for two shows at Australia’s – Dec. 29 in Lorne and Dec. 31 in Marion Bay. Beirut will also play in Busselton, Australia Jan. 7-8.

Ramesh join the band Oct. 31 and Nov. 1. Perfume Genius appears Nov. 26 through Dec. 13.
