A Few More Bon Iver Dates
The announcement comes a week after the indie folk group wrapped up its U.S. tour.
The new Canadian dates take place in Montreal at Metropolis Dec. 5, and Toronto at Massey Hall Dec. 6. The new U.S. shows are set for Chicago’s UIC Pavilion Dec. 9, and Madison, Wis., at Orpheum Theatre.
Tonight Bon Iver kicks off a European run in Copenhagen, Denmark at Falkoner Theatre. Dates are scheduled through a Nov. 11 show in Bristol, United Kingdom, at Colston Hall. The tour includes shows in Ireland, Netherlands, Belgium, Norway, France, Germany and Sweden.
The band has already started mapping out their 2012 plans with an Australian tour scheduled March 3-17.
Bon Iver is touring in support of the band’s self-titled sophomore album. It was released in June on Jagjaguwar as the follow-up to For Emma, Forever Ago.
The new North American dates go on sale to the general public Saturday. A Collective Concerts presale for the Toronto show begins Thursday. An Internet presale for the Chicago show begins Friday.
