More Acts Added To 45th Annual CMA Awards
The trio has snagged the vocal group of the year award the past two years in a row. In 2008 the group was honored with the award for new artist, followed by single of the year wins in 2009 (for “I Run to You”) and 2010 (for “Need You Now”), as well as a trophy for co-producing the 2010 single of the year.
Miranda Lambert and The Band Perry were also added to the performer lineup.
Lambert is up for female vocalist and musical event of the year for her performance of “Coal Miner’s Daughter” with Sheryl Crow and Loretta Lynn. Last year she won three awards including female vocalist, album of the year (for Revolution) and music video of the year (for “The House That Built Me”).
