Il Divo Announces World Tour

The multinational operatic popsters reveal the first leg of their 2012 world tour and roll out a new way for fans to purchase tickets.

Consisting of baritone Carlos Marin from Spain, U.S. tenor David Miller, Swiss tenor Urs Bühler, and French contemporary singer Sébastien Izambard, Il Divo was brought into this world by “X Factor” creator and former “American Idol” judge Simon Cowell after a two-year worldwide talent search.

This time around the gentlemen will be touring in support of their sixth studio album, Wicked Game, scheduled to land in stores in November.

Called the “Il Divo & Orchestra In Concert World Tour” the Euro leg of the journey begins in Stockholm, Sweden, at The Globe March 24. Other stops include Copenhagen (March 25); Berlin (March 27); Glasgow (April 1); Belfast (April 4); Dublin (April 5); Manchester (April 13); London (April 17-18); Vienna (April 20) and Geneva (April 22).

Along with new dates Il Divo has a new way of selling tickets to fans. The Il Divo Fan Store’s exclusive “Invite Ticket” program gives fans the ability to purchase pre-sale tickets as well as VIP packages in five easy steps.
