Digitalism just got back from performing a few shows in Japan after spending the year making the rounds at the European festivals, playing “The Hard Tour” in the U.S., and rocking “Parklife Festival” in Australia.

The electro pop duo, which hails from Hamburg, Germany, released its second studio album in June. I Love You Dude features a track co-written by Julian Casablancas of The Strokes.

“We are excited to enter the world of electronic music, especially with Digitalism,” said Bill Henderson, senior vice president of marketing and advertising at Sidney Frank Importing Company, which imports Jägermeister.

Jägermeister, which began sponsoring bands in 1994, sponsors more than 160 acts on both a local and national level. In addition to putting on the and , the brand also sponsors a stage at the .

Digitalism’s North American tour begins Nov. 28 in Chicago at Metro / Smart Bar and wraps up Dec. 14 in San Francisco at Mezzanine.

Additional dates include New York at Webster Hall Dec. 2; Philadelphia’s Trocadero Theatre Dec. 3; Washington, D.C., at U Street Music Hall Dec. 5; Asheville, N.C., at The Orange Peel Dec. 7; Dallas at Granada Theater Dec. 10; Aspen, Colo., at Belly Up Aspen Dec. 12; and Los Angeles at The Music Box Dec. 13.

Digitalism will also play two Canadian shows with a Nov. 29 gig in Toronto at The Mod Club Theatre Nov. 29, followed by a performance in Montreal at S.A.T.
