Soulja Boy Arrested In Georgia
When police in Temple, Ga., pulled over Soulja Boy’s rented Cadillac Escalade early this morning they reportedly found marijuana and guns inside the vehicle.
Evidently Soulja Boy, whose real name is De Andre Cortez Way, was one of five people in the vehicle. According to Associated Press, Temple Police Chief Tim Shaw said all of the car’s occupants acted cordial and that the arrest went smoothly.
Soulja Boy was held without bond and his first court appearance was set for this afternoon.

Flu Reschedules Bonamassa Gigs
A bout with the flu resulted in Joe Bonamassa missing a couple of his U.K. engagements. However, the Black Country Communion guitarist/vocalist was quick to reschedule the shows for 2012.
Bonamassa was scheduled to play the Blackpool Opera House Oct. 15 and The Capital FM Arena Nottingham Oct. 16. The new plan is for him to rock Nottingham April 2 and Blackpool April 5.
Meanwhile, the rest of Bonamassa’s U.K. tour is expected to continue as planned with him playing the Motorpoint Arena Cardiff tonight, Plymouth Pavilions Wednesday, and London’s HMV Hammersmith Apollo Oct. 21-22.
Pukkelpop Will Be Back
An extreme storm that blew through the area on Pukkelpop’s first day left at least five people dead and damaged equipment and stages. The multi-day festival was canceled shortly thereafter.
Organizers are promising the festival will return in 2012. What’s more, they announced how they’re going to make it up to 2011 ticket holders, saying they will give ticket holders free food and drink coupons good for the next three Pukkelpops.
Needless to say, Pukkelpop really took it in the shorts this year. Although a government report called the incident a “natural disaster” and absolved organizers of any responsibility for the storm, it also said insurance companies could not be expected to cover damages.
