Janet Jackson Reschedules

Midway through her Aussie tour, Janet Jackson returned to the U.S. Oct. 24 to join her family during the trial of Michael Jackson personal physician Conrad Murray.

“When I planned these shows, the schedule in California was completely different,” she explained. “After talking with my family last night, I decided we must be together right now.”

“It is important that Janet is with her family at this critical point in the hearing,” promoter Paul Dainty agreed. “Jackson will return to finish off commitments.”

Three arena shows in Melbourne are condensed to one Nov. 3; dates in Sydney and the Gold Coast are not affected.
