Hole Goes Limp

Hole quit the hard rock festival in Australia after Limp Bizkit was placed higher on the bill.

“What bloody flight of crazed fancy made you think we’d open for Limp, dude?,” Hole frontwoman Courtney Love tweeted promoter AJ Maddah.

She called slotting System of A Down, Marilyn Manson and Slipknot above her “sexist claptrap.”

Slipknot’s Corey Taylor responded, “Courtney, you haven’t released a big album in how long? Get over yourself.”

An annoyed Maddah revealed he had refused to drop Hole “after two bigger acts refused to play on the same bill as Courtney.”

He was “given so many assurances that this would not happen when I took the booking [and] only put her on after a campaign of harassment!”

He was also “relieved we got the moody old cow off the bill.”
