BBQ, Beer & Lynyrd Skynyrd

The southern rock band will be celebrating the Las Vegas grand opening of its BBQ and suds joint during the first week of December, culminating with an “Eat ‘N’ Greet” luncheon and concert.

The fun begins Dec. 1 with a series of concerts, promotions and plenty of BBQ leading up to the Dec. 8 grand opening of Lynyrd Skynyrd BBQ & Beer located in the Excalibur Hotel on Las Vegas’ famed Strip. The grand opening celebration also kicks off the first day of this year’s National Finals Rodeo.

The restaurant’s Dec. 8 opening day festivities start off with an “Eat ‘N’ Greet” luncheon with the band alongside Jack Daniel’s master distiller Jeff Arnett. Capping the grand opening will be an intimate evening performance by Lynyrd Skynyrd.

“With Lynyrd Skynyrd BBQ & Beer, we wanted to create the kind of place that we’d like to hang out at,” Lynyrd Skynyrd’s Johnny Van Zant said in a statement. “With Southern-style barbecue and great music, this will be the perfect spot for rock and barbecue fans to kick back and have a great time in Vegas.”
