Verizon Wireless Now Klipsch

Verizon Wireless Music Center in Noblesville, Ind., has changed its name to Klipsch Music Center under a deal between the speaker manufacturer and venue owner Live Nation.

Terms of the agreement were not disclosed. The name is expected to change today, Oct. 26. Verizon’s agreement ran out this year.

Klipsch, based in Indianapolis, was bought by Audiovox earlier this year for a reported $166 million.

The venue, which opened as Deer Creek Music Center, changed its name to Verizon Wireless Music Center in 2001. Live Nation has relationships with Klipsch for its amphitheatre in Miami and for Irving Plaza Powered by Klipsch in New York.
