Bridge View Center Taps Gawronski

Larry Gawronski has been named executive director of Bridge View Center in Ottumwa, Iowa.

The VenuWorks exec’s appointment was approved by the city council Nov. 1 and he begins his duties Jan. 3.

Gawronski has been the executive director of Vicksburg Convention Center in Mississippi since 2001, and VenuWorks is searching for a replacement, according to a statement.

The Bridge View convention center opened January 2007 and includes a 655-seat theatre.
