Last month the British alternative rock band confirmed it was reuniting to play its first tour dates in more than 15 years. The first reunion dates were scheduled for June 29 through July 1 in Manchester, United Kingdom, at Heaton Park. Stone Roses’ website noted that “the dates will form part of an extensive world tour.”

On Monday the Stone Roses revealed they are headlining the 2012 editions of , and .

T In The Park is set for July 6-8 in Kinross, United Kingdom, at Balado. The event is followed by FIB Benicassim, which takes place July 12-15 in Benicassim, Spain. Fuji Rock Festival, which is held in Niigata, Japan, at Naeba Ski Resort, hasn’t announced the event’s 2012 dates yet.

The Stone Roses formed in Manchester, England, in 1983 and released its debut, self-titled album in 1989. The group’s second album, Second Coming, was released in 1994. Two years later the band broke up following guitarist John Squire’s departure in 1996.
