Not The Best Damn Weekend For Avril

Avril Lavigne claims she was attacked by five people early Saturday night, leaving her with a black eye and bloody nose.

The incident occurred outside the Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel in Los Angeles at 1 a.m. Sunday, according to TMZ.com. The gossip site says reality star/Kardashian step-brother Brody Jenner was smashed in the head with a bottle while trying to break up the fight.

Lavigne tweeted her side of the story Sunday.

“I don’t fight. I don’t believe in it. To clear things up I got attacked by 5 people last night out of nowhere. Not cool. My face is f**ked,” she wrote.

“As in black eye, bloody nose, hair ripped out, scratches, bruises and cuts. So not ok to be abusive to others. Violence is NEVER the answer.”

Jenner was apparently having a great time before the fight started.

“Having the best night with the love of my life @AvrilLavigne so happy right now!!” he tweeted.

Later he wrote: “Interesting Saturday night… Just got of the hospital with a new scar on my face.. Charges/chargers!!!”

A spokesman for Los Angeles Police Department said there was a “skirmish outside in that area on Sunday morning,” according to Reuters.
