The British alternative rock band has slotted the shows close to home. The five United Kingdom dates takes place May 29 in Coventry at Ricoh Arena, June 1-2 at London’s Emirates Stadium, June 7 in Sunderland at Stadium Of Light, and June 9 at City Of Manchester Stadium.

Next week the band will take part in the “BBC Children In Need” charity event Nov. 17 at the Manchester Evening News Arena.

An announcement on Coldplay’s website says that the band will “have some news for those of you in North America and Europe soon.”
