Kenny Chesney, Tim McGraw Are ‘Brothers Of The Sun’

The country music superstars will join forces for a stadium romp beginning the first week of June in Florida.

Called the “Brothers Of The Sun” tour, the adventure marks the first time in ten years Kenny Chesney and Tim McGraw have toured together. The dates – weekends at stadiums – will also include special guests Grace Potter And The Nocturnals and Jake Owen.

The journey launches in Tampa at Raymond James Stadium June 2. Other stops include Atlanta’s Georgia Dome June 3; Arlington, Texas, near Dallas at Cowboys Stadium June 9; Kansas City at Arrowhead Stadium June 10; Philadelphia at Lincoln Financial Field June 16; Nashville’s LP Field June 23; and Charlotte, N.C., at Bank Of America Stadium June 24.

Cities also hosting the “Brothers of The Sun” include Pittsburgh (June 30); Cincinnati (July 1); Chicago (July 7); Minneapolis (July 8); Anaheim (July 14); Denver (July 21); E. Rutherford, N.J. (Aug. 11); Landover, Md. (Aug. 12); Detroit (Aug. 18); and Foxboro, Mass. (Aug. 25). Two destinations on the schedule – Indianapolis and Cleveland – are still locking down dates but the shows will take place at Lucas Oil Stadium and Cleveland Browns Stadium, respectively.

“Tim and I have been great friends since we first toured together, and I can’t wait to get back on the road with him,” Chesney said in a statement. “He’s one of my closest friends in music and in life, and I know this tour is going to be something special.”

“Our friendship was forged on the road, so it’s going to be a blast heading out with Kenny again,” McGraw said. “We’ll be having adds much fun on stage as the fans will be having in the audience.”
